Following this success Symetrica has launched a Radiation Portal Monitor (RPM) range designed to improve cargo screening efficiency. The Discovery RPM is designed for Primary Screening Applications and classifies Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material in containerized cargo. The Deep Discovery RPM provides advanced isotope identification capabilities for primary and secondary screening applications. These RPMs, entered into the Illicit Trafficking Radiation Assessment Program (ITRAP+10), can deliver vast operational savings through nuisance alarm reduction and improved isotope identification accuracy.
Our RPM range takes advantage of our; scalable range of Helium-3 free neutron detection system, new spectroscopic-PVT detection systems, advanced crystal spectrometers and a full set of detection and identification algorithms.
